If you're looking for just a fun action comedy with at least clean humor and no double meaning dialogues, you can watch this film with the whole family and not regret it. But if you've got a problem with that, you can simply watch Dhamaal, that features intelligently done humor. I've no problem with it since I knew the film was going to offer that in the first place. I'm not going to criticize the film for its at-times childish humor. Exotic locales ooze an enchanting, adventurous feel. The editing too is quite good as there aren't any slow parts. All characters impress, and the way the director keeps shifting focus from one pair to another is excellent. I wasn't expecting it to be this action-packed and it delivered cool stunts throughout the entire duration. The film starts with humor that might not click instantly, but as time passes and the real story begins, it will engage you.
Songs are decently placed though not memorable. Total Dhamaal, just like Dhamaal, is an action-adventure-comedy that is however higher on stunts as compared to the prequel and the pace too is quite swift. Dhamaal, its prequel, too was an entertaining one and is one of the rare Bollywood comedies not bashed by most people. Again, this is a film that boasts humor and action that one can enjoy if in instant need of fun. A lot of people see such comedies as an insult to their intelligence and hence the low ratings. Comedy movie bashing is a very common practice these days. Total Dhamaal is for Immature Audience who can tolerate anything for the sake of Laughter, mature ones should either stay away or can bear it somehow for the Climax. It can be remembered as 'Golden Opportunity Missed' because Indra Kumar brought an Amazing Star cast together but fails to deliver that kind of product.
Total Dhamaal is another addition in that list cause the First Dhamaal will be remembered for years but it's sequels won't. The problem with many Franchise films is that, most of the films survive on Goodwill of First Film of the Franchise (Dhamaal, Welcome, Golmaal) but no one seriously tries to make a better or even good film as the First Film of the Franchise (Exceptions- Munnaabhai and Hera Pheri). Major disappointment is the low amount of Logic which is unacceptable at multiple occasions such as, the guys can jump from any height and can still survive, Defence Job workers can be IQ less, Cars can fly like flees, a couple can survive Flood from nowhere and the list goes on.

Screenplay is Kiddish, intolerant half the time and full of fun half the time. Music is another minus point while VFX work is the major one. A bunch of Actors who have Great acting skills are wasted in intentional overdose of Slapstick comedy. Here the Zoo factor works on Emotional side, and that's probably the Best Part of the film. Total Dhamaal has similar plot like Dhamaal where a groups of people are in the race to find the money. An Illogical Copy Paste of Dhamaal Script with different characters does bring some Hilarious Laughters but most of the scenes lacks the Logic and Quality. Film fulfills everything promised from the Trailer so does the Crap things follows too, but this Non-sense Attempt on the similar script of Dhamaal makes some sense in the Climax. These two deserve a film of their own.TOTAL DHAMAAL REVIEW :- Total Dhamaal was looking a disappointment from the Trailer itself because the VFX and Execution looked so childish and we were expecting some real fun like first film of Dhamaal franchise. They have an easiness between them which comes of long years of working together, and watching Dixit, unburdened from the weight of looking glamorous, reminds you of the powerhouse she used to be. Racism, much?Ībout the only people who prevent you from strangling yourself is the forever-bickering couple played by Anil Kapoor (motabhai, husband) and Madhuri Dixit ( Marathi mulgi, wife). Folk from the South of India are dark, wear dhotis, and speak gibberish. Meanwhile, the tasteless jibes against women, a trademark of the Dhamaal franchise, pile up: ‘kaamwaali bais’ are fine, wink wink, wives are of no use, girls are ‘paisa udaane waali cheez’. Pandering to the powers that be? Oh, fully. And a roaring tiger becomes the emblem of Gujju pride, with a character saying: a Gandhi chased the Brits away, and the one we have now will conquer all. A chimp and an elephant are used to give us lessons on kindness.
A rhino’s horn becomes a pointed spear for falling backsides. Here, the CGI animals (the climactic chunk of the film is set in a zoo) have more effect than the humans. Brainless comedies can be a lot of fun (brain, stop smirking), but they need to be written with smarts.
